Sam was my boss but became my friend. She was the first person to believe in me and gave me the chance to become the person I wanted to become. It’s those traits that made Sam who she was, kind, supportive, encouraging, ambitious, warm, resilient, determined and thoughtful. A family person who saw the best and wanted the best for the people she cared for.
Sam, you will be dearly missed, thank you for everything you were and what you did, and thank you for your belief in me x

Dear Sam, more often than not, you were part of my weekly routine attending Pilates in our little intimae space. I was always delighted to see your face in class and disappointed when you weren't. I will miss the secret knowing looks between us of empathy and sympathy whenever Katharine would give either one of us a challenging move to complete! I didn't know Sam in the legendary heels but I've realised it was a privilege to be in the unique, and perhaps lesser known, presence of Sam in the Pilates socks! XX

Sam was a beautiful, intelligent, accomplished lady, and a real ‘lady’ in every sense. She had style, elegance, kindness and thoughtfulness. She had a quick brain, a business mind, a capacity for learning and the most amazing work ethic. But for all that she had, the most precious thing to Sam was her family. She was so proud of all of them. She loved them so much. She will be so very missed.
